| Information | Ruisrock will take place on 4.-6.2008 of July at Ruissalo park in Turku, Finland. The festival area is open on Friday from 4pm to 02am, on Saturday from 11am to 02am and on Sunday from 11am to 01am. The first selection of the Ruisrock 2008 line-up have been announced. The foreign headliners this year are indie favourite INTERPOL (USA), the #1 band of modern metal BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE (UK) and Swedish favourites KENT (SWE) and THE ARK (SWE). The two Finnish headliners are the biggest ones: HIM and NIGHTWISH who haven´t played at the same festival in Finland for years. Other confirmed foreign acts are Swedish singer-songwriter ANNA JÄRVINEN (SWE), metal legend AT THE GATES (SWE), Irish punk favourite FLOGGING MOLLY (USA), legend that is making a comeback LIFE OF AGONY (USA), skate punkers MILLENCOLIN (SWE), industrial pioneers on their farewell tour MINISTRY (USA), Scandinavian metal favourite OPETH (SWE), the band that has renewed progressive rock PORCUPINE TREE (UK), hardcore band RAISED FIST (SWE), legendary THE CULT (UK) and indie band that is growing to be huge THE NATIONAL (USA).
